Dexter on Showtime!

Most people when picking a premium channel pack on cable or satellite choose HBO and that’s because of HBO’s awesome TV shows like The Sorpranos and Entourage. It’s now time to give Showtime some love though! They have this show called Dexter that is really weird, kinda funny, alotta blood & thrilling. It’s about this guy that works in the Homicide division of the Miami PD. He also lives another life where he hunts down serial killers. So he is a serial killer that kills serial killers. Dexter which is the name of the show and the name of the main character is a very complicated character. Dexter has had these feelings of needing to kill people since he was a little boy, but his foster father helped him use his need for killing for “good”. His dad told him to go after people that deserved to die.

The funny part of the show is that Dexter has really no emotions but he “plays” along with people so that he fits in. For instance when someone is crying instead of giving them a big ole hug and telling them everything will be ok, Dexter will just lightly tap them on the back or just stand there. This one time he and his girlfriend (he hates sex b/c of the emotional attachment woman give to it) were watching a movie and she was crying uncontrollably well he wanted to comfort her but he didn’t know what to do so he got on his knees, lifted up her skirt and proceeded to try and perform oral sex on her. She was totally shocked by this and in a sweet voice was like “Dexter no no right now isn’t a good time.”

If you’re trying to find a new show to watch Dexter is the show for you. It’s fucking amazing! I watched 9 episodes on demand this past weekend! Do it! You’ll be glad you did! Like any great general I found this show to be on the same level of quality as Full House.

    But we can’t foget Sex and the City…I love Carrie&Co. …the greatest HBO’s serietv…i’v got all dvd of this serie and many others…but this serie helped me to know the girls-world…
    usually I don’t watch italian TV b/c it sucks…but I follow many series-tv on satellite or dl them…and then I buy the DVD…to rewatch…and rewatch…and rewatch…I appreciate also the SHOWTIME and FOX shows…

    Wow! Dexter! My entire family LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES Dexter! We watch it together…kind of weird? Not really it’s such a wonderful show! We tell everyone about it and noone knows about it…Spread the word! It’s all about Dexter.

    The novels by J.Lindsay are awesome–really, really good. And different from the series. Do both. Then find out the series is better.
