I think I’m getting old and I’ll tell you why! When I was younger all I wanted to hear and play was Grunge/Hard CockRock music. The kind where all you want to do is bang your head and slit your wrists. I was the king of that shit. I felt sorry for myself and I hated everything that wasn’t Grunge. I’d turn my stereo up loud, pop in a Nirvana CD, put the volume on my guitar amp to 8 and play with them as if I were in the band. I’d watch myself in my mirror and make sure I was making all the correct Kurt Cobain esque moves. Trust me I was rockin and no was stoppin me!

Fast forward 12 years later and I still hate everything and everyone, but I’ve softened up on the music front. I get more enjoyment out of hearing and playing softer music. A sweet sappy lyric or pretty little riff gets me turned on these days. I’ll munch on a Sun Kil Moon record and let my baby greens well up until they’re flowing like a night at the Bunny Ranch.

I’ve turned from a Hard Cockin kind of dude to a Soft Lovin’ Romancin in the pants’n kind of puss! What’s happened to me? I’m thinking father time took his big strong hands and stole my balls and replaced them with a vagina.
